I just got back from my passport appointment so all my paperwork is on its way! They said I will be receiving my passport in four to six weeks. It’s so exciting! Everything is coming together so amazingly! I feel like a huge load has been lifted from my shoulders. Support letters will be going in the mailboxes at my church next week.
Today has been exhausting. It was my last day of classes ever and my shoulders were so sore from yesterday’s shots. I’m sure I am making them out to be worse than they actually are though. Well, I just need to be strong!…and take a nap
. Sleep time…

Ah, it has been such a busy day! Well, I got home from school and my dad wasn’t home so I was freaking out about having to go get my shots for India all alone. But, he came home and after much convincing, I got him to come with me. And thank goodness he did! I got two shots and three different pills I need to take. The bill: $394. Holy trapezoid! My dad had to pay it while we were there and if he hadn’t come, I don’t know what would have happened because I don’t have that kind of money right now! So, now I have a huge IOU to my dad. Anyway, after I got the shots, I felt really light-headed and started seeing dots. It was really scary. Then, before I knew it, all the contents of my Biology class’s ice cream Sunday party was all over the hospital carpet. I was so embarrassed! But I felt better
. The doctor said that it was the first time anyone had actually thrown up after shots. So, I got an imaginary gold star. My dad said he was so scared I was going to pass out.
After we left the hospital, we went to the post office to reschedule my passport appointment. It is now tomorrow at 3:30. Yay for spending more money! Then, we went to Walmart to check out if my prescriptions were ready. One wasn’t. And guess how much it’s going to be? Two hundred something. Oh boy, oh boy…
We made a quick stop at Aldi’s and now I am finally home! It was actually a very good day despite having a frustrating day at school and a not-so-good hospital visit. I really liked getting to spend time with my dad. I haven’t been able to do that in so long! Keep praying

So, I finally sent out my support letters today! Yippee! Also, on Monday, I get lots of shots. My appointment is at 3:15 and I am so nervous! I know it probably won’t be as bad as I think, but still. As for my passport, I finally finished filling everything out and now I just need to go in for the appointment. Guess when the passport appointment is? Monday at 3:15! Which means my dad is going to change the date for me. I am a little nervous about that as well, but Ellie had hers not too long ago and she said it was a breeze. Things are really coming together, I am so excited and so nervous!!

I just got back not too long ago from getting my passport application. It’s been a week and a day since my 18th birthday, so I am kind of slacking. I need to get passport pictures done tomorrow, hopefully. Then, my dad is going to set up an appointment for Monday to get everything set. School keeps giving me all this work. I wish I could work all day on India stuff, but I have two tests tomorrow and a paper due on Friday. I know I should have gotten the paper done a long time ago. Actually, I should have gotten support letters sent out a long time ago as well. Oh well, at least I am determined to buckle down and get things done now and hope that I fight procrastination better next time. Prayers, please?
